ServeFest was an event intended to unite members of the Louisville First Seventh-day Adventist Church in meeting some of the needs in our community. From Sunday, June 28 to Saturday, July 4 people from Louisville First Church will put feet to their faith with one goal in mind - to demonstrate God’s love to the city of Louisville in a practical way!
Focusing on inner-city neighborhoods, parks, schools, the elderly, homeless shelters and MORE, ServeFest will provide a bridge for Louisville First Church to connect with needs in our community and throughout Louisville! Individuals and groups of all ages are invited to pick a project and spend the day serving the community through ServeFest.

They are a part of the web of humanity; and Heaven looks upon them as brothers to sinners as well as to saints. The fallen, the erring, and the sinful, Christ’s love embraces; and every deed of kindness done to uplift a fallen soul, every act of mercy, is accepted as done to Him.” Desire of Ages, p. 638
Hot Dogs & Burgers
Give away free hotdogs, burgers and water at the city waterfront park on Sunday from 12:00 to 4:00 PM.
People Needed: 5-7 People

Sunshine Band at Senior Homes
Sing songs and play instruments for the residents of several different senior homes, time and day to be announced.

Cookies and Milk for Firefighters
Help bake and deliver homemade cookies and “thank you” notes for the fire fighters of Camp Taylor and Fern Creek Fire Departments on Tuesday at 6:00 PM.
People Needed: 7-10 People to bake and deliver.

Wash cars for people in the Louisville First Church parking lot on Thursday from 4:30 to 6:30 PM.

Give away 3600 bottles of water to people on a hot day on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Friday or Saturday at a local park from 6:00 to 7:30.
